Why did I consider getting Too Faced Natural at Night Eyeshadow Palette?
During Sephora’s last VIB sale I decided to pick up this Too Faced Natural at Night Eyeshadow palette which I had my eye on ever since it was released. I had grown super curious about it after watching Emily’s makeup tutorial featuring this palette, so when the sale came around I was ready to go!
Where can you get it?
What did I find in the package?
The package is a small, well built cardboard box (meaning it’s not flimsy). It’s held together with a magnetic lock mechanism, very easy to operate. The top part of the box inside has a small hidden pocket with 3 cards which give you different ways to use the palette to create different eye looks. The looks are called Night, Fashion and Classic. The shades are arranged in groups of three, with 3 of them being slightly bigger (0.07 oz) and the other six smaller (0.03ox). The palette does not include a brush or a mirror.
Time to try it. What did it do for me?
For the most part, this is a really good palette with great pigmentation and color payoff. There’s only one shade that feels chalky, doesn’t apply evently and doesn’t have good pigmentation, which is Spotlight. Other than that, this is a really nice palette with neutral colors that can be either used during the day or built up to create sexy, sultry looks for at night.
Blending these eyeshadows is really easy to do; however, since some of them have glitter some of it may end up on your cheeks. I always wear a primer first when using these shadows and they stay put all day until I decide to take them off. I would suggest that you apply your foundation after doing your eyeshadows just in case you get some fallout since it is a lot easier to take it off.
Here’s a description of the colors:
Full Moon – Glittery gold
Night Light – Glittery beige/pink
Spotlight – Matte light beige with yellow undertones. It doesn’t have good pigmentation, it’s a bit dry and applies uneven to the lids.
Nightcap – Light brown with tiny gold flecks. I love this color and it’s very versatile.
After Hours – Shimmery champagne
Moon Stone – Shimmery olive with green undertones
Cocoa Star – Matte brown
Eclipse – Shimmery copper/bronze
Night Fever – Deep brown with gold flecks

What is my Verdict?
This little palette has beautiful neutral and earthy eyeshadow colors that I feel compliment brown eyes ohh so well. There are SO many neutral looks that I can see myself doing with this palette. I find it to be perfect for both daytime as well as nighttime wear given the color combination.
I really like this palette but if your not a fan of glittery or metallic eyeshadows, this might not be all that for you.
