Why did I consider getting the Stila Convertible Color?
I got this waaaaaay back when, but it wasn’t until recently that I made/found the time to actually tell you about it. Slacker much?? lol. I remember this is a product I had heard makeupgeek talk about in one of her videos. At the time, I hadn’t tried a cream blush yet so I thought this was something good to try (now I’m in love with Eve Pearl’s Cream Blush Trio and Graftobian’s HD Glamour Creme). Good thing is, this is not a limited edition product, so you should be able to find it at any time of year. I really like that this product doubles as a lipstick. It might not be your first choice lipstick, but comes in handy if you need to quickly make yourself up and don’t want to carry too many makeup products with you.
Where can you get it?
You can buy this Stila Convertible Color online at Sephora.com.
What do you find in the package?
You get a pink compact with a pretty embedded flower pattern on its lid and a nice full size mirror for on the fly application. The compact for me is really hard to open, so beware of ruining your manicure on touching yourself up ;-)
Time to try it. What did it do for me?
Stila Convertible Colors are one of those creamy multipurpose products that are meant to be used both on the cheeks and on the lips. This color is really beautiful and I see how it could be flatering in many different skintones. I can get a very sheer application or I can build it up really nicely. It can also be used to layer powder blushes on top as well. I like the natural and fresh look I get when I use this as a blush. So far, the Stila Convertible Color is the only cream blush I can successfully apply with my fingers. I don’t know what it is about the consistency of this blush that it glides pretty easily through the cheeks. It lasts about 6 hours without retouching, which I find pretty good!
I also tried it as a lipstick. Even though the formula is very creamy, my lips do get a bit dry when I use it. I usually top it off with a lip balm or lip gloss . I do have to add that I love the color of it as a lipstick. It lasts for about 2 hours on my lips – without any smooching, of course :-)

What is the Verdict?
Don’t you love a multitasker? I do! So far, I only have it in this Peony color, but I plan on trying others out in the near future. Since I have very dry skin, this is perfect for giving my cheeks that fresh glow.
