Why did I consider getting these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains?
This is the new kid on the block in the makeup world so I decided to jump in and ride the wave of these balm stains for this summer.
Where can you get them?
I got these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains at my local CVS. You can also get them online at Drugstore.com.
What did I find in the package?
There are 12 different colors in this line and they each contain 1.0 oz of product. Their package is a chubby pencil style with a twist-up tube, which is good because they don’t need to be sharpened.. Woohoo! I like that feature a lot. Another thing I like is that the cap doesn’t get stuck like some of my Tarte LipSurgence lippies.
Time to try them. What did they do for me?
Even though there are 12 different colors in this collection, I only got 6 of them and they are all gorgeous! The colors are so pretty and flattering for all skin tones. The pigmentation on these is amazing and they last for hours even after drinking and eating. The texture is soft and creamy and glide on easily on the lips. Even though they don’t feel moisturizing they don’t dry my lips out immediately. I do start feeling my lips drying after maybe an hour of application but that doesn’t mean the color fades away, I still have the color in my lips. They have a glossy finish that makes the lips look bigger and fuller, and they also have a faint minty scent, but it’s almost unnoticeable and after application I can’t even taste the mint.
Here’s a description of all the colors:
Honey: It’s the most neutral of all the shades I picked up, a mauve rose when swatched on my wrist BUT it looks very pale and sheer when applied to my lips.
Smitten: It’s a deep berry color.
Lovesick: It’s a bright fuschia color, very pigmented.
Sweetheart: It’s a bright medium pink.
Rendezvous : It’s a typical coral/orange shade. Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti is very very similar.
Cherish: It’s a light cool pink.
YouTube Video Review
I created this video review in which I swatched ALL 6 shades, so you can see what they all look like. I also did side by side comparables as well with other lipsticks I have in this video. Enjoy!

What is my Verdict?
These balm stains are truly a hit for this summer. I’m not sure if they are limited edition, but leave me a comment below if you know. They are definitely worth the money and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a long lasting, long wearing stain with brilliant colors. I LOVE these lippies and my favorite colors are Sweetheart and Lovesick: not for the faint of heart :-)
