Why did I consider getting the NARS Paramaribo Eyeshadow Duo?
No boring colors here! I’m always looking for some excitement in terms of eye shadow colors and you could say that I think purples and greeens look stunning. That’s why when I first saw this NARS Paramaribo Eyeshadow Duo I knew I had to try it. The earthy green colors immediately caught my attention.
Where can you get it?
What did I find in the package?
You get a small black compact with a mirror on the lid. No brush. You get 0.14 oz of product, pretty normal size for this type of eyeshadow.
Time to try them. What did they do for me?
Can I love this duo a bit more?!? These shades complement each other so well. The texture is not powdery or chalky but quite blendable. The pigmentation of both is outstanding.
The color on the left is a green/golden shade with a high metallic finish. It reminds me of the Too Faced Nice Stems eyeshadow color, but the Too Faced one is more of a true green. It’s soft and easily blend-able, although I find it a bit sheer if I don’t build it up. The color on the right is a slightly darker olive green with tiny golden flecks. This one is really similar to MAC Sumptuous Olive. This shade is also extremely soft and blends very well. It has a perfect buttery texture.
Neither of these shades is powdery and they’re both really easy to work with. Both of them can be used alone beautifully; however, I found that together they have an even bigger impact, the combination is stunning. They can also be used wet for more intensity.

What is the Verdict?
Overall, this is a solid eyeshadow duo with colors that truly compliment each other. I think the earthy green/bronzy colors complement brown eyes very nicely. Both shades are easy to work with, so if you’re into green, you should at least swatch these!
