MAC Restores Dazzle CremeBlend Blush
The MAC Restores Dazzle Cremeblend Blush was released with the MAC Shop MAC cook MAC Collection for Spring 2012. I like creme blushes in general because they’re breathable, light, and apply much better to my dry skin type. I know they don’t work for everyone, but if you’re like me, then they’re definitely something to consider.
MAC Restores Dazzle Cremeblend Blush is a rich plum color with some berry undertones. It’s super duper pigmented, so a little goes a long way. It can be built up for a really dramatic, bold and intense look or it could be applied with a light hand for a sheer flush of color, so it’s very versatile. The easiest way I’ve found to apply this creme blush is with stippling brush, since the bristles distribute the prudcuts more evenly. Another way that also produces good results is with your very trusty good ‘ol fingers. Works like a champ.
Believe it or not, this is my first MAC cream blush ever. The texture reminds me of the Stila Convertible Color Blushes. It’s light and easy to work with. I find that I can is it by itself, or also I can use it as a blush base to build up other powder products. I really like cream blushes over most powder blushes because they look more flattering on my dry skin. This particular blush wears for about 5 hours in my skin before it starts fading away, so I think it’s got a very decent wear time.
I wouldn’t say this is my favorite creme blush, as I prefer Eve Pearl’s Creme Blush Trio, which is super light, and the colors go better on my skin tone. However, I would still say this one is a great creme blush.
