The MAC Hey Sailor Crew Highlighter Powder was released with the MAC Hey, Sailor! Collection for Summer 2012. The packaging for this collection is made up of white with navy blue stripes all around. The compact in which this powder comes in is navy blue with a clear lid through which you can see the beautiful colors and patterns of the powder.
MAC Crew is a highlighter made up of four different soft colors: peach, pink, lavender and a beige shade. Mixed together, the four shades give a beautiful pink-ish color. After using this powder for a while, I’ve decided that on my skin tone (NC40) this powder looks much better as a blush. That’s one thing I love about makeup, that a lot of products might be originally sold as one thing, but sometimes they end up working better for different people as something else. In this case, this highlighter shows up as a cute pink blush on my cheeks. The formula is smooth and soft which makes for great, easy to blend application. It also has a beautiful sheen finish to it. I really love it as a pretty and subtle blush!
