Why did I consider getting Benefit Cha Cha Tint?
I love Benefit’s products, but the first time I saw this Benefit Cha Cha Tint I thought… Wow, hold your horses… that color looks crazy!! Who in their right mind will want to apply that to their cheeks?!? Well, after playing with this product for months I can tell you this little product is a miracle in a bottle.
Where can you get it?
What did I find in the package?
Benefit bottles look like nail polish jars and the applicator is just like a nail polish applicator. The bottle contains 12.5ml or 0.432 oz of product.
Time to try it. What did it do for me?
From the creative and practical packaging to the texture and consistency of this product, I love it all. This is an interesting kind’a blush since it’s not liquid but it isn’t a cream either. It’s a liquid to gel formula which is a bit on the thick sise. This Benefit Cha Cha Tint blends really easily and glides through the cheeks with ease. I can easily apply it with my fingers but it can also be blended out with a brush. After I apply it, my cheeks look glowy and fresh, without it feeling heavy at all on the skin. It’s very light weight. The wear time really surprised me! It lasts abuot 8 hours on my skin before it started dissipating. To me that’s an amazing wear time for a blush.
Even though it looks like a strong orange color in the bottle, the real color is peachy-orangey when blended on the cheeks. The color can be very sheer or it can be built up and layered for added drama and intensity. I’ve also tried other uses, such as creating a base for powder blushes. I find many of my powder blushes looking amazing after layering them on top of the the Benefit Cha Cha Tint.
One thing to keep in mind. The applicator is not the most hygienic if you are using this on different people. It seems you can easily contaminate the product. Even for using it on myself, I prefer applying it to the back of my clean hands, and then applying it to my cheeks or lips with my fingers.
Another thing I really like, which should not surprise my readers, is that this Benefit Cha Cha Tint is not scented. Hurray! Must of the other Benefit products I’ve come across have a synthetic flowery rose-like fragrance, but this once came without the smell with made me very happy!
The Benefit Cha Cha Tint can also be used on the lips, giving me a subtle flush of coral color. There isn’t much to it since the natural color of my lips doesn’t really make it really shine. It doesn’t feel like a lipstick, more like a lip stain, and because I started feeling a bit of dryness after about 20 minutes, I decided to compliment it with some lip balm. All in all, it lasts about an hour on my lips.
I’ve also used it before applying lipstick for a layered, more intense effect. Just like with the scent, it doesn’t have a bad taste at all. In fact, it’s taste free.

What is my Verdict?
Even though this little bottle with its bright, bold orange coloring might look scary when you first glance at it, the real color it provides to your cheeks will really amaze you! It’s ease of use makes the Benefit Cha Cha Tint very user friendly, easy to apply and very easy to blend. It’s perfect for traveling because of its size and light weight. I would recommend this to anyone!
