Haven’t you heard?! Orange is IN. I’ve heard and seen it now in a couple of places, orange is all the rave this Spring in the makeup world. I can’t really say I’m in love with that, but I do love some of the orange products in my collection. Here’s a tutorial I created using some pigments that MAC released this Spring as part of their MAC Vera collection, the MAC Aloha pigment stack. I used all four for this video, to get that orange-y look I was looking for! The four pigments are called Aloha, …
MAC Pearlglide Intense Eyeliners Review
These MAC Pearlglide Intense eyeliners came out as part of the MAC Vera Collection for Spring 2012. I think eyeliners are a very important part of anyone’s makeup toolkit. They are very useful for putting the final touch on a particular look, or for defining specific lines in the eyes you want to highlight. However, not all eyeliners are created equal, as you probably know.
MAC Pearlglide Intense eyeliners have an incredibly soft texture and blend so easily. That’s what I love the most about them, their creamy formula that never pulls on the delicate

MAC Flower Fantasy Pearlmatte Face Powder – MAC Vera Collection
Vera Neumann was a pioneer in design who successfully cross-licensed her designs into linens, scarves and sportswear. This MAC Vera Collection was inspired on her work. The powder has Vera’s signature ladybug embedded on the powder (very cool)!
This powder has three different sections of color, just like the Sunday Afternoon one. The top section (largest) is a peachy/rose shade with a subtle sheen. The middle section is a light pink with a subtle sheen. The bottom section is a frosty peachy color.
When you swirl the brush on all
MAC Strawberry Patch Crushed Metallic Pigment Stack
These MAC crushed pigments came out with the MAC Vera Collection for Spring 2012. Of all the other pigments stacks that came out with this collection these are the trouble makers, being the ‘chunkiest’ and getting more clumpy when applied to the lid. I find the best way to apply them is dry with a MAC 239 brush becuase it’s very stiff and flat. If I get the brush damp and then take some of the pigment and start applying it to my lid, I get clumps, so I prefer to apply them
MAC Sunday Afternoon Pearlmatte Face Powder – MAC Vera Collection
Is this powder gorgeous or what! What What?!?! It’s so pretty, I hesitated to stick my brush in there. LOL!
The powder has different sections of color. The biggest section (on top) is a light pink shade with a subtle sheen. The smallest section (in the middle) is a dark pink color, almost a fuchsia. The bottom section is a frosty pink with a frosty sheen. When you swirl the brush on all of the colors you get a medium pink with a subtle sheen. Pretty!
I find I get
MAC Aloha Crushed Metallic Pigment Stack
These MAC crushed pigments came out with the MAC Vera Collection for Spring 2012. From all the other stacks that came out in this collection, I must say these are the softest and silkiest in texture. I find the best way to apply them is dry with a MAC 239 brush because it’s very stiff and flat. If I get the brush damp and then take some of the pigment and start applying it to my lid, I get clumps, so I prefer to apply them dry.
I like that there’s barely any fallout
MAC Butterfly Party Crushed Metallic Pigment Stack – MAC Vera Collection
These MAC crushed pigments came out with the MAC Vera Collection for Spring 2012. First, you should know that these are a bit harder to apply, as they are not super silky like the regular MAC pigments. These are more… ‘chunky’. I find the best way to apply them is dry with a MAC 239 brush becuase it’s very stiff and flat. If I get the brush damp and then take some of the pigment and start applying it to my lid, I get clumps, so I prefer to

What do you think of the MAC Very Collection?!?! Let me know below!…
Spring seems far, far away as I write this in early February but the soon to come out colorful and cheerful MAC Vera Collection is sure to lift your spirit up! Last year, I loved the MAC Surf The Ocean Crushed Pigments and when I saw this collection, the first thing that caught my attention are these pigments… I’m taking them all home, baby! LOL!! The Pearlmatte are also beautiful powders that I don’t think I’ll resist.
MAC Vera will be available on February 15, 2012.
